Thierry Ballot has a rich experience of over 20 years in the areas of financial audit, fraud risk management, as well as compliance, M & A and business integration in France and in many emerging especially in Africa, the CIS and Central and Eastern Europe.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Private Law from the University Paris I, higher accounting and finance degree, a postgraduate degree in management and a certificate of fitness for the office of auditor.
Since September 2012, Thierry is also working with the Financial Intelligence Processing & cabinet (FIP) firm specializing in financial intelligence and investigation of fraud.
Previously, since 2011 he led PwC Forensic activities for South-East from Bucharest office.
From 2006 to 2010, he served as director in the Forensic department of KPMG in Moscow, with responsibility for the development of financial services expertise in litigation for the CIS countries.
Previously, he was with KPMG since 1994 in Paris, where he joined the Forensic Department in 2003.
Industry expertise mainly covers oil and gas sectors, energy, food, defense, aluminum, retail, hospitality & tourism.
Thierry is fluent in French and English. It also has good knowledge in Russian and Spanish.
